These terms cover the use of substrateteam.com and the SMS messaging program operated by Substrate, LLC. Services we provide to clients are governed by the written agreement each client signs with us, which takes precedence over anything here.
The content of substrateteam.com is provided for information about Substrate, LLC and its services. It is not advice, and nothing on the site forms a contract; proposals and agreements are made in writing between Substrate and a client. Site content may change without notice. The Substrate name and mark belong to Substrate, LLC.
Program name. Sentinel, by Substrate.
What the program is. Sentinel is the monitoring platform Substrate, LLC operates over the systems it is responsible for. This messaging program sends operational alerts and status notices from Sentinel to Substrate's own technicians and staff, for example that a monitored system needs attention or that an incident has been resolved. Messages are signed "Sentinel, by Substrate". The program is for Substrate's internal staff; it does not send marketing, and it does not send messages to the public or to clients' customers.
How to opt in. Enrolment is by Substrate's written consent form, or by texting the keyword SENTINEL to (971) 458-4428 from the mobile number to be enrolled. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of employment or of any purchase.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies with system events. Recipients typically receive fewer than 15 messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply to every message sent or received under this program.
How to get help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact Substrate support at support@substrateteam.com.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to that number unless you opt in again.
Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on the carrier network and on the recipient's device and is not guaranteed.
Privacy. How we handle the mobile numbers and consent records collected for this program is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Supported carriers. Messages are sent to numbers on participating United States carriers. If a carrier does not support the program, messages to that number may not be delivered.

If these terms change, the new version is posted at this address with a new effective date. Continued participation in the messaging program after a change means acceptance of the changed terms; you can leave at any time by replying STOP.
